Apartment in a historic building
The apartment is located in a historic building in the city center, featuring 3.3-meter ceilings, a functional fireplace, a beautiful bay window, and numerous windows.
The client’s request was for a French-style apartment, and the given parameters were ideal for this concept. Our task was to create an elegant, cozy, and atmospheric space that combines classic French style elements with modern solutions, while preserving the apartment's historical spirit and highlighting its unique features.
We used neutral light shades, elegant mouldings, and herringbone parquet flooring. Since our client is a chef, we suggested making the kitchen fronts from stainless steel, reminiscent of restaurant kitchens. There are no upper cabinets in the kitchen area, as the walls are lined with windows, and the windowsill height is suitable for kitchen work surfaces.
